Inside Thee Mind. – Better late than Never. 2.2.20.

on

It’s 8:45 a.m. EST. I been thinking to myself that “man…2020 is already flying.”

It’s February 2, 2020 (Happy Black History Month y’all…yes.) and I woke up around 5:45 a.m. this morning. Somehow I fell asleep earlier than usual last night, so here I am…playing around with my website and looking over my social platforms keeping abreast of the latest.

This past December I told myself that I would really take more ownership into my content, my brand, as well as giving y’all a chance to really get to know me. Truth be told TheeTru1Project was born back in 2012, but for years I never really took it serious to truly own my craft. I’m talking domain, marketing, everything…and even now I’m still trying to figure out how I’ma really brand all of this. Y’all bear with me…this journey has not been easy at all, Lol..especially when ya doing it by yourself.

Specifically with this website (and my socials), I truly want to give you all a chance to look inside of the mind of someone who is really reflective on everything. Someone who works to inspire those who don’t believe in themselves. Someone who stands a part from the masses. Someone who has accepted that he is not just another person existing in this world…I’m living.

With living, life has given me many challenges to reaffirm my identity and my purpose. Plenty of times in my young life (I’m 28 going on 29 in April…s/o to them Aries) that I’ve felt solitude. Plenty of times I’ve felt that no one understands my mindset. A lot of times that I’ve felt that I just wasn’t good enough.

But if you’ve taken the time to read up until this point: You are good enough. You are unique. You are one of a kind. You do not need validation from no one. Keep ya eyes on the prize. Keep ya head high. Keep ya heart pounding…and survive.

Yes, this post is all over the place…but this is chance for me to break out of my writer’s block in any way I can. If you check my bylines, I really can write..and yes I’ma brag on my skills. I’m humble by nature, but I’m at a point in my life where I can exude my talent. I do this…and I gotta reaffirm with myself that I can indeed…do this.

But yeah yo…since this is my first blog post, y’all make sure to holla at me on all my socials. For the most part, I be observing and watching how folks be moving…but just like in-person, I’m pretty conversational if the energy and vibes match. But yeah…better late than never for real. I’m proud of me. And y’all make sure to check out everything on this website for real…I’ma work to give y’all this content. Peace Tribe.
